Is 3.2 the dawn of the BeastMaster?

... apparently not.

The Beast Master specialization… A myth. A privilege only old-school players enjoyed, many many many raids ago…

The 3.2 patch hit the PTR yesterday, and today we can see many of the things that are coming. One thing got my attention: only 1 item of the new Hunter ilvl 258 set has Haste.

This can mean many things: maybe the loot from the new instances will have the missing haste, maybe hunters that are not specced BM will get a haste-buff somehow, or maybe, just maybe… the dawn of the beastmaster is here.

The sets for tier 8 and 8.5 , both have 131 and 140 haste respectively; which right now is a good boost for those looking to achieve the 522.738 cap. But when 3.2 hits, we’ll only have 60 Haste to build up… unless Blizzard wanted us to get back to BM.

On the other hand, Replenishment is getting a buff, which is a clear indicator that SV will still be a favorite spec for raiding. Only time will tell, but if it’s true, good times are coming, and Gondria might finally get out of my stables…
