In July 2006, Snow Patrol presented their single Chasing Cars. The song was selling well, but dropped out of the charts after the CD was removed from stores.
In January 1st, 2007; the Official UK Chart Company changed the rules and decided that any single selling well on the internet had all the right to remain and rule the singles chart, despite its release date.
In January 1st, 2007; Chasing Cars re-entered the singles chart at number 9…
In February 12, 2007; a website will attempt to make history by bringing back an old song into the UK charts. The site is called It Should Have Been Number 1. If they make it happen, it’s gonna be a 1995 song side by side with 2007 new singles…
