I haven’t read the book, but after seeing the movie, I’m dying yo buy the Hitchhicker’s Guide To The Galaxy.

It’s one of those movies whose book you can’t imagine how to explain its conceiving. Sadly, Douglas Adams died in 2001 and couldn’t see his masterpiece taken to the big screen.

Anyway, the answer is 42 !!!
